• Water Features: The tranquility of water is underestimated. The soft sound of trickling water creates an instant sense of calm while also drowning out unwanted noise. Fountains, bird baths, a small pond, or even a mini-waterfall are all terrific ways to inject a spa-like feeling into outdoor spaces.  
• Shade and Shelter: For full comfort, it is ideal to have shade and shelter in a backyard oasis. Residents of the area are lucky to enjoy gorgeous, sunny days but there are times when the cool air of a covered area becomes a necessity. Consider oversized umbrellas away from your home’s porch or, perhaps, opt for a gazebo on your property line.
