Angier: Landon Ridge Neighborhood
- December 6, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm marks the start of Angier’s most festive weekend of the year as Christmas on the Square opens in the downtown area. Participants can enjoy refreshments, crafts, hayrides, and more–including a chance to drop off wish lists with Santa! Don’t miss the annual tree lighting!
- On December 7th at 10:00 am wheels will begin to turn as the annual Angier Christmas Parade heads through downtown. Arrive early to secure a spot along the parade route and be ready to sing along to your favorite holiday tunes!
- Follow up Angier’s fun with a trip “next door” for the annual Fuquay-Varina Christmas Parade. The parade kicks off on December 8th, at 4:00 pm!
Clayton: Abby Meadows Neighborhood
- Clayton’s annual Christmas Village and Tree Lighting is back!! This year’s event will be held on December 5th, continuing a tradition that now spans over 30 years. This twilight event features carolers, train rides, a live nativity, and tree lighting.
- The Clayton Christmas Parade takes place on December 14, starting at 3:00 pm. This spectacular small-town parade features nearly 100 floats, local marching bands, and Santa Claus! Bring a bag to collect candy tossed from participants to those singing the loudest!
Fayetteville: Tarrant Estates Neighborhood
- Holiday Lights at the Garden This magical tradition runs from December 6-22 (select nights) and will be bigger and brighter than ever! With a walk-through lighted wonderland and a chance to visit Santa, this is a must-attend event.
- The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! Is an iconic holiday show back for its 33rd year in Fayetteville. Opening day is December 7th and the fun doesn’t stop until December 22nd.
- Holiday Jubilee 1897 Poe House will be host, once again, to the Holiday Jubilee. Attendees will enjoy music by the Coventry Carolers and the Fayetteville Barbershop Chorus.
- Fayetteville Christmas Parade Celebrate the Fayetteville Christmas Parade’s 25th Anniversary on December 14th! Starting at 10:00 am, the parade will be filled with local marching bands, a variety of floats, and Santa himself!
Hope Mills: Braxton Village, Cypress Pointe, and McMillan Manor Neighborhoods
- Christmas in Hope Mills showcases a string of festive events in early December!
- December 6, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm: The Hope Mills holiday tree comes to life at Christmas at the Lake! Bring your chairs and blankets to cozy up to the sounds of holiday music.
- December 7, 9:00 am - 11:00 am: Breakfast with Santa at the Hope Mills Fire Station
- December 7, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Paws & Clause Pet Pics at the town hall gazebo.
- December 7, 5:00 pm: The Parade of Lights registration is now open! Whether participating or spectating, this parade is not to be missed.
- December 16, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Santa & Sirens kicks off as St. Nick visits neighborhoods across Hope Mills. Routes will be posted in early December.
- A Southern Christmas offers a fabulous stroll on Main Street to enjoy trees decorated by local businesses. Trees will be on display from November 28th to January 8th.
- Letters from Santa Registration is open for Letters from Santa! Register online and drop your child’s letter in Santa’s Red Drop Box by December 8th.
- Elf on the Shelf Kits Hope Mills will provide 24 days of Elf Antics to parents leery of this zany tradition or those who are fresh out of silly set-ups for the elf in their home.
- Christmas in the Park returns to Arnette Park this December with a drive-thru light show. This unique ride allows visitors to become fully immersed in the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Enjoy the 2024 show on December 8-12 and 15-19 (excluding Fridays and Saturdays), from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Selma: Abingdon Neighborhood
- The Selma Christmas Celebration takes place on December 3rd beginning with the town’s annual Tree Lighting (6:00 pm). The Christmas Parade follows with fireworks to close out a wonderful night!
Smithfield: Lucas Park Neighborhood
- Smithfield Christmas is a hub of local holiday activities!
- The Holiday Bazaar boasts over sixty vendors, a petting zoo, pony rides, holiday crafts, baked goods, kettle corn, ice cream, hot cocoa, spiced cider, and more!
- Smithfield’s Tree Lighting is a favorite in the area bringing visitors to the area annually.
- Run the Stink, Stank, Stunk 5K and Jingle Bell Jog with an easy entry fee of a new, pre-wrapped toy!
- Smithfield’s Christmas Parade Jingle and mingle to holiday tunes while watching endless festive floats.
- Christmas Carriage Rides are a favorite for locals and visitors. Enjoy the town’s twinkling lights on a unique, horse-powered tour.
- Santa’s Smithfield Workshop will be bustling and open for tours as the holiday season gets in full swing!
Wendell: Andrews Landing Neighborhood
- The Lake Myra Christmas Light Show flips its switch to “on” November 27th and will provide a nightly light show through December 31st. With over a quarter of a million dancing lights, this show is best watched from a lawn chair or blanket!
- Wendell Wonderland is back on December 6th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm! This annual holiday festival will be packed with craft vendors, food trucks, and a cookie walk! It is the perfect night to get into the holiday spirit and get a head start on shopping!
- The Knightdale Christmas Parade is scheduled for December 14th this year starting at First Avenue near Knightdale Station Run. This parade is the essence of small-town fun with endless floats and holiday music.
The City of Raleigh is just minutes away from each of the JSJ Builders communities and is full of holiday cheer! A quick road trip will be well worth it to create some new holiday traditions with family and friends.
