• The 58th annual Holly Day Fair will take over the Crown Expo Center from November 6th to 9th, giving locals an early jump on holiday shopping. This is the largest craft show in Eastern North Carolina, with over 150 vendors. If you’ve missed this year’s event, mark your calendar for the first weekend in November for 2026!
• A Dickens Holiday returns to downtown Fayetteville, bringing a charming, Victorian-style holiday event featuring a candlelight procession, costumed characters, a gingerbread house contest, and more. This year’s event will be on November 28th, beginning at noon in downtown Fayetteville.
• Hope Mills will host Christmas at the Lake in Hope Mills Lake Park on December 5th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Make sure you arrive before the annual tree lighting, slated to shine at 5:50pm. This event also features carols, hot cocoa, cookies, food trucks, and photos with Santa! 
• Santa will be filling up on pancakes to get ready for the big day at Breakfast with Santa. Come join him at the Hope Mills Fire Department on December 6th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Tickets are available now!
• The Hope Mills Christmas Parade of Lights is set for December 6, at 5:00 PM. Enjoy a festive parade filled with illuminated floats and holiday cheer.
• For a truly unique experience, register for A Southern Christmas in the Park! Participants will decorate the trees that will light the gazebo pathway in Hope Mills Park. Grab your friends, family, coworkers–anyone with an eye for holiday creativity–and reserve your tree today!
• Looking for big-city holiday energy? Fayetteville has the answer with Fayetteville Holiday Lights at Segra Stadium. This spectacular multi-night light display will be held at Segra Stadium, from December 8th to 23rd, nightly. While this stadium typically hosts the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, the holiday season is when it really knocks one out of the park.

Johnson County is home to a half-dozen stunning JSJ Builders communities! Residents of Abingdon, Cedardale, Earp Farm North, Emily Gardens, and Lucas Park are in a prime spot to enjoy some of the area's most festive celebrations! 

• Do you want to get in the holiday spirit quickly? Head to Big Daddy’s Farm from November 28th to December 23rd to enjoy Christmas Lights on the Farm. Convenient to all of JSJ Builders’ neighborhoods, Christmas Lights on the Farm is the perfect way to switch from turkey-mode to a candy cane extravaganza.
• Clayton’s Christmas Village & Tree Lighting will take place on December 4th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Main Street. The event includes live performances, holiday treats, a festive ambiance, and that beautiful tree lighting moment.
• Get a head start on your shopping at Pace Family Farms’ seventh annual Christmas Craft Fair. “Doors” open to this outdoor event at 9:00am on December 6th. 
• The Smithfield Christmas Parade will kick off the holiday bliss on December 11th at 7:00pm. Stop by Town Hall to grab a cup of hot chocolate!
• Santa will take a break from the parade circuit to do a little reading at the Tobacco Life Museum in Kenly, the morning of December 13th. Stop in for Storytime with Santa from 10:30am to 11:10am.
• Clayton will hold its annual Clayton Christmas Parade on the second Saturday of December along Main Street. Grab your spot early on December 13th to enjoy bands, floats, and Santa’s arrival. The parade typically starts at 6:00pm.
• Enjoy hot cocoa with Santa on December 18th in Clayton’s Municipal Park! Santa will be visiting from 6:00pm to 8:00pm before dashing off to another engagement. 
• Lights on the Neuse is back with a family-friendly holiday light show at Boyette Family Farms. Tickets are recommended for this event as visitors will be given a timed entry. Check the website in November, once those Halloween Hayrides are wrapped up!

Lenoir County is home to Ham Farm, Hudson Village, and Lyon Estates–each filled with charming, new construction JSJ Builders’ homes.

• Enjoy the La Grange Christmas Parade on December 14th at 3:00pm! Note that date, as it has shifted from the original announcement. This year’s parade theme is “It’s a Wonderful Life,” celebrating the joy of togetherness and giving back through acts of kindness.
